After breakfast leave for Udawalawe. first you may visit the elephant transit home , after that you will reach to the national park and enjoy a jeep ride through a grassland . The park is famous for its elephant population, seen in small and large herds.Spotted deer, Sam-bur, Barking deer, Monkey,Wild Buffalo,Wild Boer, and innumerable varieties of birds, endemic and migratory. Peacock is the most famous of the birds at the park. The mating dance of the male with it's colorful plumes fully spread is a photographer's delight.proceed to Ella. dinner and overnight stay in Ella.
Today, you will visit the beautiful Ravana Falls and enjoy the scenery along the road with colorful food stalls, large rainforest trees, slow market towns and a flow of tuk-tuks.
Then, you will head to Little Adam's Peak. The hill got it`s named after it`s big brother, the holy mountain Adam`s Peak, because of the similar shape. Adam`s Peak is further west in Sri Lanka, close to Nuwara Eliya, and is 2243 m high and a much more exhausting and more challenging climb! Breakfast at the hotel,transfer to Nuwara Eliya. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya to be greeted by the fresh wintry atmosphere, the cottage type bungalows and the colonial air. ( Nuwara Eliya is also known as "Little England")An evening you will have a city tour in Nuwara eliya and visit Gregory lake. (hire a jetski, motor boat or bike, Horse Ride) . Observe the magnificent Architecture of that period and experience the tranquility of the atmosphere In Kandy. In the evening you may witness a cultural dance and proceed to Sigiriya. Breakfast at the hotel and leave to visit Sigiriya Rock .Climb the 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress - a world heritage site, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). The 'Lion Rock' is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 metres from the scrub jungle. The rock was the innermost stronghold of the 70 hectare fortified town. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock.
